An opportunity has arisen within the Waste and Recycling section for a second, permanent Senior Refuse and Street Cleansing team leader. You will work alongside the other Senior Team Leader and the Refuse and Cleansing Manger to provide support for the Waste and Street Cleansing Services.
The successful candidate, in conjunction with the management team, will provide effective, hands-on operational supervision for the day to day management of the refuse and street cleansing service. We are looking to recruit a Gardener Team Leader to work as part of the Borough’s Grounds Maintenance Team based at Kimberley Depot.
You will be responsible for leading one of the maintenance teams. Work will involve a full range of amenity horticultural work including maintenance of parks, open spaces, highway verges, cemeteries and other landscaped areas.

An excellent communicator is a must, the post holder liaises with a wide range of people including Occupational Therapists, Architects, Contractors and residents during the grant process.
Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit a Neighbourhood Coordinator to help deliver and improve its Housing Neighbourhood Management Service. As a Neighbourhood Coordinator, your role will include daily contact with customers and you will assist them with their housing and tenancy issues.
You will manage tenancies and tenancy issues, an anti-social behaviour caseload and you will also manage a patch neighbourhood within the Borough. The key focus of the team and the role is to improve the quality of neighbourhoods, to sustain tenancies, to effectively engage with customers to improve housing services and to deal effectively with issues of anti-social behaviour that may arise.
Salary: £18,888 pro rata per annum 18 hours per week

We are looking for a cleaner to assist in delivering the services to our customers who live in our Independent Living Schemes. The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all the communal areas within the schemes, including corridors, kitchen, guest room and lounge are kept clean to enhance the living environment for our residents.
You will be required to adhere to health and safety procedures in relation to cleaning, manual handling and working with cleaning chemicals.
